A notorious robber, famously known as Pastor, in Gboko area of Benue State, who is believed to be among the killers of a late pharmacist, Labe, was this morning shot dead while driving with his friend in a Honda car in Gboko town.
A popular armed robber in Benue state who has been notoriously elusive and a terror to residents has been nabbed and gunned down. Meanwhile, the bodies of the victims have been deposited at the general hospital in Gboko.
According to Daily Post, an insider hinted that the dreaded robber was accosted by some men who are said to be a rival group along Gboko road and opened fire on him killing both of them on the spot.
When contacted, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Moses Yamu said he has not been informed of the incident.
“I will get back to you when I confirm,” he told this reporter on phone.
