A new unregistered political party was float by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member, chaired by close associate of the estranged PDP chieftain, Chief Perry Opara, and Alhaji Ali Ahmed Gulak, former Presidential aide.
They decided to set out something new, which will be handle by younger elements who are less corrupt and who can be able to fight for the interest of the people,” he said.
This was Reported at National Executive Council/National retreat organised by the pioneer of the new party called ‘Peoples Mega Party (PMP)’, the National Coordinator, Perry Opara, told the delegates that the mission of the new political platform is to set up a very focused and patriotic body devoid of negative traits of impunity and confusion.
But he refused to mention names of the PDP and APC members who have interest in the party, saying they do not want to make their intentions public yet. Members from other parties like All Progressives Congress (APC) show interest to work with the new party.
