Zika virus was said to be transmitted from sexual intercourse with another bearer, in Texas a patient became infected after having an affair report said.
The infection may be linked to thousands of babies being born with underdeveloped brains. This recorded the first case of transmission of the virus in US confirmed by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dallas County health officials said the patient’s partner fell ill after visiting a country where Zika is rife.
Zika virus have been declared a global public health emergency by the World Health Organization.
