On Thursday, the brother to the Governor of Bayelsa state was attack by thugs allegedly suspected to come from the All Progressives Congress, (APC), attacked and left him unconscious to the point of near death after invading his residence in Ekeki, Yenagoa local government area of the state.
Probably the attack is on the heels of Saturday’s supplementary polls in Southern Ijaw LGA and 101 units across 6 local governments in the state.
There was a great pandemonium, as the suspected thugs threatened to shoot, destroy and kill anybody that may put up resistance or call security operatives.
On eyewitness statement, [quote_center]“The invaders reached out and overpowered his guard, broke the security lock of the gate and dashed straight to the living room, where he was with members of his family and they rained terror on him.”[/quote_center]
