SUSPECTS PROBED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER OF LATE DORA AKUNYILI DISCHARGED

A High Court in Abuja has freed six persons accused of conspiring and attempting to assassinate the late Director-General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Dr Dora Akunyili.
The presiding judge, Justice I.U Bello discharged and acquitted the suspects, saying that the prosecution was unable to pin the accused persons with the degree of certainty at the scene of the crime and obviously the commission of the crime at the scene.
