MAN SHOT SIX PERSON’S OVER ALLEGED FOOD POISON; GUNNED DOWN BY POLICE

A middle aged man identified as Onana Osua, said to have shot six persons over alleged food poison killing three persons confirmed dead. He was pursued by the police patrol team and was finally gunned down after he allegedly attacked a police patrol team.

It was gathered that Osua who was said to be the chairman of a motor park in Uromi town, allegedly killed the wife of one of his target who was not at home when he arrived at his residence.

The incident occurred at Uromi, Esan North East local government area of the state.‎ The late Osua who was admitted at an undisclosed hospital for food poisoning, reportedly left his hospital bed, went home, took his gun and went to the homes of people he suspected to be responsible for poisoning him and shot them dead.

Edo Police spokesman, DSP Abiodun Osifo, who confirmed the report, said Osua went on a killing spree before the police stopped him.

Osifo explained that Osua shot at a police team who were already aware of his killing spree before the police fired back.
