Governor Rocha’s Okorocha, has assured flood victims in riverine communities in Oguta council of government’s intervention to erase their suffering.

He was represented by the deputy governor, Eze Madumere, who spoke when he visited some of the flooded communities.
Madumere advised the victims to keep off the river banks.
He said the government would deploy health workers and environmentalists to provide medication and prevent epidemic breakout.
The deputy governor said relief materials were on the way to serve as palliatives.
