It was revealed that the former minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke awarded contracts to her Ghanian personal assistant.
Sahara Reporters also reports that Okyere’s company, Springfield Energy Ltd, was awarded a $40billion annual contract by the former minister in April 2014, two years after the company was registered

According to Sahara Reporters, Okyere is a very influential man in Ghana.
