Five final winners have emerged in the Startimes win-a-trip-to-Germany promo.

The draw, held yesterday at the Startimes office in Abuja, was witnessed by officials of the Nigerian Lottery Regulation Commission.

The latest winners will join five others who had emerged in the August edition for a trip to Germany to watch Bundesliga matches. The all-expense paid trip for 10 lucky subscribers is slated for end of November, 2015.

[dropcap type=”2″]O[/dropcap]ver 77,000 subscribers participated in yesterday’s draw, bringing the number of participants in both draws to over 150,000.

Other prizes won include 200 units of Android solar phones, 100 units of generators and 42 LED Startimes television sets.

The promo was one of the activities lined up by Startimes to mark its fifth anniversary.

The company explained that it was the need to give back to the society that informed the promo.

One of the lucky subscribers, Dr. Kayode Oseni, who resides in Abeokuta, Ogun State, received the news with joy as he screamed when he was informed on the phone that he was one of the lucky winners.

Dr. Oseni who said he recharged on hearing of the promo, commended Startimes for being customer-friendly.

Speaking on the essence of the promo, Startimes Marketing Manager, Somoye Habeeb, said no doubt, there are various competitors in the industry, but Startimes would ensure that its customers received the best in terms of transmission and service delivery.

He said: “When you talk about competition, it is an integral part of every business, every industry.

“We know that the competition is tense now but not for Startimes. We are leading and intend to keep leading.

[quote_center]“Digital migration is coming soon, and whether you like it or not, the best is coming from Startimes and we are promising Nigerians that we will give them the best.”[/quote_center]

He said;”This is a draw that we titled win a trip to Germany, where we will be taking 10 subscribers to Germany to watch the Bundesliga live matches.

“Not only that, we will also be giving out 100 generator sets, we will also be giving out 50 LED television sets and 200 solar phones.

“The reason for this promo is just to pay back to the society.

“What we are giving back to the society is value because what we are taking from them is value.”
