Players of Nasarawa United have been rewarded with N200, 000 by the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Silas Agara for beating Rangers International on Sunday.
The Solid Miners defeated the Blue Angels 1-0 in the Glo Premier League at the Lafia Township Stadium on Sunday.
Agara, it was learnt, made the promise to the players during his courtesy visit on Sunday before the match.

The club’s chairman Isaac Danladi while confirming the report to SportingLife, said the Deputy Governor promised to do more for the team.
“The deputy governor did that to encourage the players. He has urged them to work hard to win their remaining matches. The money is just a gift because it is different from their match bonus,” Danladi said.
The chairman of the Club Owners Association of Nigeria said his lads are gearing towards their next game against Akwa United.
“The players are determined and ready for the game. We are going to Akwa United full of hope. We will try and get something from the match,” he said.
