Esperance of Tunisia striker, Emem Eduok, has added to Super Eagles’ injury woes after he picked up a knock against Tanzania at the weekend.
Eduok sat out the Eagles training on Monday and he is now most likely to miss Tuesday’s friendly against visiting Niger in Port Harcourt, africanFootball.com reports.
Russia-based midfielder, Izunna Uzochukwu, has been ruled out of the friendly after he suffered a groin injury in Dar es Salaam.
Defender Leon Balogun has already flown back to his German base after an ankle injury shut him out of the African Nations Cup qualifier in Tanzania.
Meanwhile, Niger coach Francois Zahoui has said his team will play with no fear against the Eagles.
“We are small team, while Nigeria had played at the World Cup. But we will not play with any fear especially after we lost our last match (2-0 in Burundi),” the former Cote d’Ivoire coach told africanFootball.com.
The match will kick off 3pm local time.
