[dropcap type=”3″]G[/dropcap]iwa FC captain and central midfielder, Charles Henlong has said his side will puncture Enyimba’s 10-match unbeaten record in the ongoing league season.
The Tin City side will host league leaders, Enyimba in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 28 clash on Sunday at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.
The Jos outfit were forced to a goalless draw by the People’s Elephant in the first fixture clash in Aba.
Henlong said his side are determined to prove themselves the strongest Elephant at the end of the clash of Elephants as both sides are known.
“We are keenly and seriously waiting for match day for us to pour our venom on Enyimba.
“Thank God our winning mentality is at its highest so that is the drive to see us overcome the opponents.
“Enyimba have proved themselves to be unstoppable in the last 10 matches but the seemingly flawless run will end on Sunday.
“We will certainly puncture their good performances so far against other league opponents.
“The encounter is going to be tough as it involves familiar foes, we know Enyimba as a difficult side same way they know us as dangerous foes.
“I believe they are coming to Jos to be baptised with the toughest match of the season that will see them head back to Aba empty-handed.
“We are damn ready to halt their 10-match unbeaten record,” said the former Mighty Jets star tosupersport.com.
Giwa FC are fifth on the Nigerian top flight on 43 points nine points behind leaders and opponents, Enyimba.
