The winner for the gubernatorial election in Bayelsa was revealed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following a supplementary election held on Saturday.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Governor Seriake Dickson of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the official winner of the election.
Todays collation included election results from Nembe, Ekeremor, Brass, Southern Ijaw, Ogbia, Yenagoa and Sagbama local government areas of the Niger Delta state.
Below is the final result announced by INEC returning officer in Yenagoa today;

Accredited Voters: 242,114
APC: 86, 852
PDP: 134, 998
Margin: 48,148
Total Valid Votes: 225, 520
Total rejected votes – 6647
