This morning, another fire incident occurred (is occurring)! No one can ever forget the 24th December Chikason gas disaster in Nnewi. The Organizer filling station located at Amuko, Nnewichi in Nnewi is on fire presently.
Reports say that there have been 18 casualties already and that more fuel tankers in the station are exploding.
The fire was said to have been caused due to inadequate safety precaution by one of the staff, who was dispensing fuel at the same time a fuel tanker was offloading fuel to the underground tank.
Please be safe don’t head towards Amuko now, and you should also call your friends and tell them.
The rising smoke can even be seen from a distance.
